When a Grammy-winning singer says she’d love to play in her hometown, it’s best to take the hint.
Such is the case of Colbie Caillat and the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
“I wish I got to play more in our hometown — Santa Barbara Bowl, Ventura, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza — having all my family and friends come, so it’s local and getting the whole SoCal vibe,” the former Thousand Oaks resident who now lives in Westlake Village told The Star in August.

Increasingly, service providers are looking to make video content available across mobile handsets, tablets, connected TVs, gaming consoles and streaming boxes. CHARLIE Sheen is “not crazy anymore”.
The 46-year-old actor – who was fired from ‘Two and a Half Men’ last year because of his erratic behaviour and excessive partying – insists he plans to be “mellower” and has turned his back on his wild ways.
He said: “I’m not crazy anymore. That was an episode. I’m a different person than I was yesterday.
Reese Witherspoon has found her happily-ever-after with new husband Jim Toth, but the road to wedded bliss was a rocky one.
“I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky,” she told of Toth, whom she began dating in January 2010.
The actress filed for divorce from Ryan Phillippe in 2006. She calls the break up “traumatic” and worried about the effect it would have on their two children, Ava, 12 this month, and Deacon, 7½.
