When a Grammy-winning singer says she’d love to play in her hometown, it’s best to take the hint.

Such is the case of Colbie Caillat and the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

“I wish I got to play more in our hometown — Santa Barbara Bowl, Ventura, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza — having all my family and friends come, so it’s local and getting the whole SoCal vibe,” the former Thousand Oaks resident who now lives in Westlake Village told The Star in August.

Cisco powers video in the cloud with new Videoscape products

Increasingly, service providers are looking to make video content available across mobile handsets, tablets, connected TVs, gaming consoles and streaming boxes. So Cisco, which provides networking equipment to a large number of network operators, is hoping to provide some of the technology that will help them move beyond just delivering traditional TV offerings and extending their reach with IP video services.

To do so, Cisco first introduced its Videoscape products at last years CES. Now the network equipment provider is introducing a series of new products that build on its existing platform.

CHARLIE Sheen is “not crazy anymore”.

The 46-year-old actor – who was fired from ‘Two and a Half Men’ last year because of his erratic behaviour and excessive partying – insists he plans to be “mellower” and has turned his back on his wild ways.

Reese Witherspoon on Finding Love Again: ‘I Got Very Lucky’

Reese Witherspoon has found her happily-ever-after with new husband Jim Toth, but the road to wedded bliss was a rocky one.

“I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky,” she told of Toth, whom she began dating in January 2010.

The actress filed for divorce from Ryan Phillippe in 2006. She calls the break up “traumatic” and worried about the effect it would have on their two children, Ava, 12 this month, and Deacon, 7½.
